Back to blogging: Stop the Hate

Recently I looked at my website and thought, there is no updated content. I have a new CD this year. I have a new open mic. I am teaching with Roots of American Music. I am performing and running an open mic. I am still president of FARM and Folknet. I have a lot going on. I wanted my website to better reflect everything I am up to without having to rebuild every time I have something new. I wanted to create a way for you to look back. I also wanted to retreat from other social media sites. I want to share my experiences and future. I want my site to be more current.

With this in mind, I went back to one of my favorite platforms, the blog.

Anyhow, it is December of 2022. I have an open mic tonight. I teach in the morning. Tomorrow is an essay workshop for Stop the Hate. An anti-bias program sponsored by the Maltz Museum. I teach essay workshops with Lake Erie Ink and Songwriting workshops with Roots of American Music. Both programs are amazing, providing me with the opportunity to help Cleveland area students put their message into the world. Together we learn about the issues people live with and ways to make our experience more positive. To drive out the darkness with light. To end hate with love and understanding.
